My First Blog Entry~

Hello~

Well this is a bit strange for me to be writing a blog at this time. I've got a lot to share to the online community but it will all come in due time I suppose. Don't get me wrong, I know all about the concerns and issues about gettting hacked/stalked etc... But I feel relatively safe in my life right now to share things online.

So onto who I am. I'm not going to discuss my real life name on this site, just cause I've heard that you don't do that in a blog. Instead of that, I will discuss who I am and my personality. I'm currently enrolled in post secondary school and looking to pursue a career in the computing science industry. I have not yet discovered what it is I wish to be in life, but it will come in due time. I have a loving family and amazing friends that always got my back. Everyday, I 'm usually on the computer, whether its playing games, studying or chatting with friends. I guess that derives from the use of my DSI back when I was in highschool. I assume you people will already know what Flipnote Hatena was, but for those who don't know, I shall explain. Flipnote Hatena was a free application for the DSI. It allowed its users to create page by page animations, while offering a variety of colouring/drawing techniques to bring life to the "flips". There was a voice recording mechanism integrated into the app which allowed users to record songs/music onto the flip. It was a really fun app, but there was an online section on there. It was called Flipnote Hatena (or something like that, I don't remember if there was a difference between the online name and the offline name). It was here which my life changed. At first, there were amazing flipnotes. I remeber watching BOSS's flipnotes and a bunch of other famous creators. I was never one of them until I decided to imitate what they did. I found this flipnote of the Rhythm Heaven singing dudes and I decided to add things to it. I remember waking up at 7am before going to school for weeks, modifying the flipnote to my liking. Eventually, I reuploaded it to the online community for other to share. At first, the experience of accomplishing that taskw as satisfying. I worked really hard on it and I get to share my creation to others.

Well after a few days, that flipnote started to gain popularity. It became number 1 on the most popular list. There were endless amounts of stars (which are similar to likes on youtube) on it and so many people left really nice comments on it. I was really happy with myself and I wished to recreate more. Sadly, I was busy with school work and when I did have free time, I didn't have the drive to do it anymore. I became lazy and started to do other things on the online service. I decided to become more deditacted to the people around me. Deep down, I wanted to make other people feel happy about themselves because of what another person does for them. Just like how I got all the praise and worship from other people, I wanted to do the same thing to other people. So then I started to become closer to the people that communicated with. I was a huge Pokemon game fanatic and I became obessed with trading people Pokemon online. It was a great time and as a result, I had a bunch of new relationships with people.

I was browsing online Hatena, when I discovered music flipnotes. They were really awesome and most of them reached high on the most popular list as well as mine did. I suddenly had a huge thought. I decided to do some music flipnotes of my own and I would ask  my audience at the end if people wanted me to record songs for them. I thought that people would ask me to record the songs for them so that they may download them, and recreate there own flipnotes from them. I was ecstatic. I suddenly became obessed with doing at least 1 flipnote a day and uploading it. Getting a Hatena badge was a goal of mine too. Getting a badge requires a user to post at least one flipnote everyday for several days until a certain number of days was obtained. There were several different levels butI only remember getting the Gold Badge, which is post a flipnote everyday for 300 days.

Anyways, my music flipnotes never did reach the potential I wished them to be, but I did have a lot of fun making them. I also met some people who forever changed my life. But I will leave that story to another day. It will all come together in due time, I promise.

Now that you know a little bit about me, you may have guessed what I'm writing this blog for. I wish to retell my past memories about my life on this website. I wish to hopefully guide a new generation fo online users to use the internet to their benefit. I wish people will not make the same mistakes I have made that have, to this day, changed my life. This is my drive. This is why I'm writing this blog. I hope you all may stay with me as I embark on this new journey. I promise it will be anything from boring, although it may seem like it at times.

Thanks for reading my first blog update. I promise I will get better at writing blog responses and hopefully teach something new to my audience. I know thats a long shot but it doesn't hurt writing about my past.
